| Requirements |
Entry level environmental professionals will prepare simple evaluations, reports, designs and/or calculations for moderately complex projects related to one or more of: environmental assessment and remediation of contaminated sites; industrial facility compliance; groundwater resource assessment and modeling; building investigation and mitigation; industrial hygiene; environmental planning and permitting; risk analysis and assessment; solid waste management; environmental data management; and geographic information systems (GIS). Entry level environmental professionals will also perform routine, well-defined, field and office tasks (technical and non-technical) and analysis under direct supervision. They will conduct field exploration, sampling, inspection, analysis and technical support under supervision. Entry level environmental professionals will write field reports, internal correspondence and sections of formal reports and proposals. They will also coordinate small projects with on-going review and interaction by senior operations/technical staff. |
